Midway released new concept art featuring Jax and Subzero!
Date/ Time: March 29th 2002, 2:02 AM (GMT+1:00)
Author: AcjBizar

Midway has released two new concept art pictures on the official MK:DA site.
The first picture shows a render of Jax, which looks alot different than the first render they released. This could mean that they got rid of Jax' old style, or that this is an alternate outfit.
The second picture is a drawing of a maskless Subzero, it's very sketchy, but it does have some digital enhancements.

Hence the lack of updates over the past week.
We are sorry about any inconvenience caused by this and we hope to be up-to-date again.

The April issue of Game Informer Magazine features drawings of SubZero and Raiden, but also the not officially confirmed Kitana, aswell as three entirely new characters.
The names of these new characters are Blind Kenshi, Malvado and Drahmin.
We haven't heard about these new characters from Midway or the MK development team as of yet, but there's a big chance that we'll hear more about this in the near future.
Could this be another "Fatality Friday"? More as we find out.

Author: AcjBizar

The director's cut of the MK:DA trailer that was released by Midway last night is pretty much the same as the teaser trailer that was released before.
The only difference is that Scorpion shows some moves that were taken out for the original teaser trailer.

Screenshots of three stages that will appear in MK:DA!
Date/ Time: March 2nd 2002, 5:57 AM (GMT+1:00)
Author: AcjBizar

Midway has just released three more screenshots via the official MK:DA site.
The screenshots show stages that will appear in the upcoming game.
The names of the stages are Acid Pool, Lava Shrine and Kuatan Palace.

Acid Bath Lava Shrine Kuatan Palace

Each screenshot has a story written in it.
The story of Kuatan Palace says:

Matters of great importance to the Shokan race are brought
before the Pillars of Ancient Heroes in Goro's throne room.

This is funny because only a few hours ago I released a picture I made of Goro with the MK:DA logo on it, what a coincidence.

Enjoy!

Added Mortal Kombat Fakes by FatSatan!
Date/ Time: March 2nd 2002, 2:02 AM (GMT+1:00)
Author: AcjBizar

You might have noticed that from the very start of this site, there has been an option "Fakes" in the menu, however, this never was a working link.
That is changed now! By clicking the word "Fakes" you'll be taken to the Fakes section of this site.

Fakes are pictures (usually screenshots), made/ enhanced/ modified by fans.
Fakes allow you to see things that would never be possible in any excisting Mortal Kombat game.
Fakes can feature regular, secret and rumored Mortal Kombat characters, aswell as characters from other games (like Ryu from Street Fighter or even Mario) or even completely new characters.
The settings may be MK stages, stages from other games or even entirely custom made stages.
There can be new fatalities, babalities, friendships, special moves, animalities, etc. etc. Anything the creator of the picture could come up with.

The first MK fakes artist that is to be featured on this site is one that has earned a great deal of respect in the MK internet community over the years.
He is the webmaster of The Outerworld and was one of the moderators on the most popular MK message board ever, being the MK5.ORG message board.

He has made quite some MK Fakes over the years, and they are well known amongst alot of active members of the MK internet community.
We will start of with 14 by FatSatan, but you can expect more fakes by him, aswell as other MK fans in the near future.

Click the "Fakes" link from the menu, or click here.

Enjoy!

New Mortal Kombat (Deadly Alliance?) artwork by AcjBizar!
Date/ Time: March 1st 2002, 11:58 PM (GMT+1:00)
Author: AcjBizar

It has been a while since I've made any fan art, so I felt it was time to make something special.
Since alot of rumors are going around the internet about the possible return of prince Goro (from MK, MKT and MK4) in MK:DA, I got inspired to make some pictures about this subject.
I did not start from scratch, but used the official MK:DA logo and a drawing of Goro that I made some time ago.
I did put some effort in it though, so you might want to check them out.

Click on the images for a larger view.

Note that these are not official pictures, I do not work for Midway, so this does not mean Goro will be in the next Mortal Kombat game!

Bad news: Links to trailer offline. Good news: Work in progress on the MK:DA site!
Date/ Time: March 1st 2002, 1:44 AM (GMT+1:00)
Author: AcjBizar

They seem to have taken these new (not working) links off the site, but you can still download the 3.5 MB MPG version.
We are close to 100% sure now it's the same teaser trailer, since it shows a screenshot with Scorpion from that very trailer in the download/ Video section of the site now.
More screenshots are available in the download/ images section of the MK:D site now too.
Note that it is "Fatality Friday" and that they are working on the site right now, hmm. ;)

Greetings,

Same trailer, new formats?
Date/ Time: March 1st 2002, 1:10 AM (GMT+1:00)
Author: AcjBizar

The official Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance site has been updated with new links to Quicktime and Mindows Media files.
It's probably just the same teaser trailer as the one shown before (featuring Scorpion), but just in different formats (again).
But, today/ tomorrow is (Fatality) Friday, so there is a chance that this is new material.
We think this chance is rather slim though, because the Play Mpg link directs to the exact same spot and has the same size (3,5 MB) as the teaser that was shown before.
The links do not work as of yet, so we're not able to check it out (yet).
As soon as we know more, we'll let you know.

Here are the new links.

Greetings,

=Acj'02=
